# Changing primary contact person of a deal room

||| Only members with [access to deal room settings](https://help.dealum.com/en/article/managing-access-of-deal-room-members-1ex0spq/#6-how-to-give-different-deal-room-members-different-access-in-the-deal-room-how-to-create-and-edit-member-access-groups) can change the primary contact.

To change the primary contact of the deal room:
* go to deal room Settings
* open the Preferences tab
* click on "Change" next to the current contact person
* select new primary contact
* click "OK"
