# Passkey and how to enable it

On Dealum, you can use a passkey to make signing in faster and more secure without needing to enter your password each time.

###### What is a passkey?

Passkey is a modern, secure replacement for passwords. Instead of entering your email and password, you can sign in using the same method you use to unlock your phone or computer, like your face, fingerprint, or a device PIN.

###### How to set up a passkey?

To set up a passkey  for your account on Dealum, follow these steps:
* Go to [__https://app.dealum.com/#/home__](https://app.dealum.com/#/home)
* Click on your profile icon on the top right corner
* Click on "Personal settings"
* Click on the "Security tab"
* Go to "Passkeys" section
* Click on "Add a passkey"
* You will get a “Create a passkey” notification
* Click “Create” or “Continue”, based on the device you are on
* Use the passkey method you set to verify

###### How to log in with a passkey?

After you've set up a passkey, you can log in to your Dealum account by just clicking “Log in with a passkey”.

###### What should I do if I can no longer access my account using a passkey?

If you can’t use your passkey, you can still log in using your email address and password instead.
