# What is Funnel and how to use it?

Funnel is a pipeline that can be customized to reflect the evaluation and/or investment process you use for managing applications from companies. You can read about customization of your funnel [here](/en/article/customization-of-funnel-and-application-form-10dy92z/). You can move the companies in your funnel between the steps by using 'Move to...' actions that can be found in the 'All actions' menu. To move multiple companies, [multi-select select the companies](https://help.dealum.com/en/article/moving-multiple-company-applications-in-the-funnel-at-once-otf6ru/) you want to move and use 'Move to...' action available in the 'Actions' menu. You can also set up different [triggers](https://help.dealum.com/en/article/setting-up-emailcomment-triggers-in-the-funnel-7aggzq/) in your funnel and decide [which questions are asked from applicants in different steps](https://help.dealum.com/en/article/collecting-data-from-companies-step-by-step-xw1v2c/) of the funnel.
