How to share a post with your network?

To share a post with your network:
Navigate to the Network page from the left-side menu
Click on “New network post”
Write the post and add any relevant attachments
Edit audience from the Post settings if needed
Click “Publish”

Your post will be visible to the selected audience in your network.

How to share funding rounds with your network?

There are two ways to share funding rounds with your network.

Share from the funding round view.
Navigate to the funding round you want to share
Click on the Share round button
Select “Network contacts”
Write a post that would accompany the funding round
Add additional attachments and edit audience from the Post settings if needed
Click “Publish”

Share from the Network feed view.
Navigate to the Network page from the left-side menu
Click on “Funding round” at the top of the Feed tab
Search for the company application the funding round you want to share is connected to and select the application
Click “OK”
Add a description to your update
Add any other attachments (documents, more funding rounds, or similar) to your post if you wish
Edit audience from the Post settings if needed
Click “Publish”

You can also share a funding round by clicking on “New network post” and using the funding round attachment button to add it to the post.

Please note that it is not possible to share company applications in your deal room. It’s only possible to share funding rounds. When you share a funding round, your connections who can see your post are able to join the round.

Funding rounds that are shared in the feed direct users to the funding round page when clicking on them. Post’s audience can add the funding round to their deal rooms from that page.

How to choose the audience for your post?

Audience of a post you share with your network can consist of:
The whole network (all contacts)
A specific part of your network (selected contacts)
One specific contact

When you create a new post in the Feed tab on the Network page, its audience is the whole network by default.

If you want to limit the post’s visibility, click on Post settings and choose “Limited”. Search for specific contacts to add them to the post’s audience or click on “Select” and multi-select relevant contacts. You can also filter contacts by tags you have added to them and easily select all contacts with a specific tag.

Alternatively, you can share a post with a specific contact only when you go to the Contacts tab, open the menu of the contact and choose “New direct post”.
