Filtering information in Portfolio
How to filter companies/investments in the portfolio by companies’ profile information?
How to see which companies and rounds a specific member has invested in?
How can members view their own investments in the portfolio?
Companies’ profile information is available on their application in the funnel not directly in the portfolio. You can still filter portfolio companies by their profile information if you have connected their funding round(s) to corresponding applications in your funnel.
To filter portfolio companies by profile information:
navigate to Portfolio from the left-side menu
click on “Filter” at the top of the Investments section
apply relevant filters
A portfolio company will appear after filtering if at least one of its rounds has an application that contains matching information connected to it.
Totals on top of the portfolio summary view also change with filters. If you choose that you want to see only companies from the industry Fintech, totals will show how much you/the entity (e.g. your investor group) have/has invested in Fintech companies.
If you’re managing portfolio of an investor group and have connected investments to your deal room members, you can filter the portfolio by members.
For that:
navigate to Portfolio from the left-side menu
click on “Filter by member” at the top of the Portfolio view
select the member whose investments you want to view
The summary (totals) on top of the Portfolio view also change when you filter the portfolio by member. The deal room summary (on the left) shows how much the deal room has invested in companies the selected member has invested in and other related values. The member summary (on the right) shows how much the member has invested in total with your deal room (investor group) and other related values.
This article explains how to interpret the numbers shown in the portfolio summary.
Please note that you can view investments of one member at a time when filtering the portfolio by member. You can reset the view by clicking on the profile picture/initial of the member that appeared in the place of the “Filter by member” button and choosing “View all”.
If you are using the Funds feature in Portfolio, you can also filter Portfolio by funds in addition to filtering by members.
The “Filter by member” button does not appear if you have not connected any investments in the portfolio to deal room members.
To view your own investments in the portfolio (of an investor group):
navigate to the Portfolio page in the deal room
click on the “My investments” button available at the top of the page
If the “My investments” button is not available, no investments have been connected to your name.
As a result, you will see the list of companies you have invested in and how much you have invested in each company in equity and in other rounds.
You can click on the company name to see more details about their rounds, your investment in the rounds you have participated in, the stake you own in the company and the value of your stake (in case information on how many shares the company has issued and how many shares you have received has been entered to the portfolio).
You can also see a summary of your investments at the top of the Portfolio view. This article explains how to interpret the numbers shown in the portfolio summary.
