How to export all Portfolio information from the deal room?
To export full Portfolio information in .xlsx format:
- go to deal room settings
- navigate to the Export / Import tab
- choose “Portfolio report” from the Export section
How to export investments of a specific member?
If you have full edit access to the deal room’s Portfolio, you can export investments of any member.
For that:
- navigate to the Portfolio page in the deal room
- filter Portfolio by relevant member
- open the drop-down menu from the down-pointing arrow in the top right corner
- choose “Export member transactions”

Member investments will be downloaded in .xlsx format.
If you have the right to view at least your own investments in the deal room's Portfolio, then you can also export your own investments as an Excel.
For that:
- navigate to the Portfolio page in the deal room
- click on the “My investments” button available at the top of the page
- open the drop-down menu from the down-pointing arrow in the top right corner
- choose “Export my transactions”
How to import information to Portfolio?
You can import the list of your portfolio companies with their rounds and round investors separately. For importing portfolio data, your deal room needs to have an active subscription plan that includes the Portfolio feature.

You can find a template for portfolio import from deal room settings > Export / Import.

The template contains columns for following values:
- Company — brand or trade name of the portfolio company
- Round name
- Type — funding round type; can take values: equity, convertible note, loan, SAFE, grant
- Date — signing date
- Amount invested — total amount invested by your organization (e.g. your investor group)
- Round size — total size of the funding round
- Pre-money valuation / Valuation cap
- Shares issued to me — total number of shares issued in this round to your organization (e.g. all members of your investor group who participated); applicable only for equity rounds
- Share price
- Total shares before round — total company shares before raising this funding round
- Total shares issue — total number of shares the company issued with this funding round
- Interest — interest rate for loans and convertible notes; enter “5” for 5% interest rate
- Days in a year — number of days used for accrued interest calculation; can take values 360 and 365
- Discount — discount rate for convertible notes and SAFEs; enter “5” for 5% discount rate
- Converted to equity — if a SAFE or convertible note type of round has been converted to equity, use this column for indicating which other round the conversion took place with (that round must also be listed in your Excel)
- Related application — name or application code of a company application in your deal room you want to link to the round
- Round description — any additional information or notes you want to import about the round (free text)
To import portfolio information:
- Download the template as instructed above
- Erase example data from the template
- Put your own data into the template
- Upload it in deal room settings > Export / Import > Import > Portfolio
- Importing investors to rounds
You can import investors to a round after you have already imported the round or added it to portfolio manually.
To import investors to funding round:
- Go to Portfolio page
- Click on the company name
- Choose to edit the round you want to import member investments to
- A window where you can add and edit round information opens
- In the Investors section click on "Import investors (xlsx)"
- Select the excel file you have prepared with round investors
- Click Save to save the changes

The excel file with round investors can contain the following columns. Mandatory columns are marked in bold.
- Investor type — can take values: Member, Fund, Non-member, Multiple investors. Use the value "Member" for connecting the investment a deal room members and value "Fund" for connecting the investment to a Fund you have created in your portfolio. Use the value "Non-member" for recording an investment by external investors and value "Multiple investors" for recording an investment by a group of external investors.
- Lead — use value "Yes" to assign lead investor rights to the round investor.
- First name — fill out with the first name of the investor or name of your fund or the external group of investors (mandatory for member investments if you don't provide member's email).
- Last name — last name of the investor (mandatory for member investments if you don't provide member's email).
- Email — email address of the investor (mandatory for member investments if first and last name are missing or if you have members with identical names in your deal room).
- Phone — phone number of the investor.
- Number of investors — use to show the number of investors in the external group of investors.
- Amount — investment amount by the investor.
- Shares issued to member — number of shares the member received/sold in the round (applicable only for equity rounds).
- Description — description you want to add to the investor's investment.
