Paying application fees to organizations

Some deal rooms may use Dealum's Stripe integration for collecting application fees and other similar payments from startups. Please keep in mind that such payments go directly to the organization's Stripe account and are not intermediated by Dealum. If you have any questions about the payments you have made, would like to request a receipt or a refund, or similar, please contact the organization that requested the payment directly.

If the organization you are applying to is using Dealum's Stripe integration for collecting fees from all applying companies, you should see information about the requested payment in the application introduction. When clicking "Submit" at the end of the application form, you should see a pop-up with the payment request and you can complete the payment through Stripe.

Some organizations may request an application fee or something similar at a later stage of the process in which case you will receive a payment request to your email as well as see a pop-up when opening your company profile in Dealum.

Please note that Dealum's Stripe integration does not support automatic charges from startups, meaning that organizations cannot charge you automatically. All payments need to be completed manually.

If you do not wish to pay the fee that has been requested from you, then please contact the organization directly. If you wish to stop the payment requests immediately, then you can revoke the organization's access to your application which would prevent the deal room from being able to request payments from you.

Please note that opting out of the requested payment may cause your application to be rejected or you may lose access to services provided by the deal room.

Dealum is not involved in any monetary transactions and does not collect or store anyone's credit card information.
