Paying (membership) fees to the deal room
Some deal rooms may use Dealum's Stripe integration for collecting membership fees and other similar payments from their members. Please keep in mind that such payments go directly to your organization's Stripe account and are not intermediated by Dealum. If you have any questions about the payments you have made, would like to request a receipt or a refund, would like to stop receiving paid services from your organization, or similar, please contact your organization directly.
If your organization is using Dealum's Stripe integration for collecting fees and has requested a payment from you, you will receive a payment request to your email as well as see a pop-up when opening your organization's deal room in Dealum.

If the deal room has configured recurring (annual, semi-annual, quarterly, or monthly) payment for you, you can also set up automatic payments for future periods. For example, if a monthly payment has been configured and you have paid for the month of January, next payment for February would be charged automatically without you having to initiate it if you enabled automatic payments.
To set up automatic payments:
- open your organization's deal room
- navigate to the Members page from the left-side menu (or Membership page if Members page is not available)
- open your own profile
- click on “Enable automatic payment” on the right side of your profile
- you will be directed to Stripe to complete the setup

Please note that you can only opt in for automatic payments if you don't have any overdue payments. If you have overdue payments, these have to be manually cleared first.
Automatic payments are processed a few days before the next payment is due. If an automatic payment fails because of any banking error (insufficient funds, rejected card, etc.) automatic payments will be disabled. If you wish to continue with automatic payments after that, you will need to re-enable them by following the same instructions described above.
