Providing additional information to deal rooms
As the contact person for a company, you might receive an email that requests "a report" or to "provide additional information". These emails are automatically generated by Dealum when a deal room wants you to either update your application or provide/update reporting data.

Why did I get an email with a request for "a report" or "additional information"?
Some deal rooms have set up a progressive process, meaning they ask for initially relevant information when you first apply, and as your application is moved to the next steps, they will require new, more detailed information about your company. Some deal rooms occasionally update their application questions and would like you to answer them.
There's 2 types of additional information:
- Update your application
- Provide access to and/or update Reporting data
For both cases, the email is accompanied by a button with a link to the correct page where you can fulfill that request.
How do I update the data in my application once I've received the request?
When you receive an email with a request for additional information, follow these steps:
- Read the email to see if there's a specific request mentioned
- Click on the button "Update application" within the email
- You will be taken to the application update page for that deal room
- Review the information you've provided
- Answer any new questions you previously haven't
- Give special attention to the update request in email (if present)
- Click "Complete"
Alternatively, for deal rooms to request access to reporting data and to update application answers you will also see the request on your Applications page:
- The "View application" button has a red dot
- There's a message underneath
- And on the view application page, there's Unread notifications section, as well as a dot at the "Update information" button:
How do I provide a report once I've received the request?
With Reporting, you have two requests you may receive.
- Access to reporting data
When you receive an email with a request for additional information about your company, follow these steps:
- Click on the button "Update application" within the email
- You will be taken to the application update page, with added "Reporting" section at the end
- Review the information you've provided
- Answer any new questions you previously haven't
- Fill in the Reporting data
- Click "Complete"
You will also be able to see the request on your Applications page, just like with application update request above.

- Click on the button "Update company reporting" within the email
- You will be taken to the "Reporting" application update page
- Update the Reporting data
- Click "Complete"
