Adding tags and internal notes to members

How can I add tags to members?

You are able to set up a predefined list of member tags for use in your deal room in Settings > Preferences if you wish. You and your team members can choose tags from the predefined list as well as add tags that are not included in the list when adding tags to members.

Tags can be added only by members who have full edit members access. Tags are visible to members who have 'view member profile' or higher members access.

To add tags to a deal room member:

  • go to the Members page (from the left-side menu)
  • locate the relevant member in the members list
  • click on the member name you wish to add a tag
  • find the Tags section where you can add tags by clicking on “Edit tags”

To add tags to multiple members at the same time:

  • go to the “Members” tab
  • multi-select the members you want to add tags to by clicking on their profile picture
  • open the “Actions” menu that appears on top of the members list
  • choose “Edit tags”

The same applies to removing tags from multiple members at once.

Member tags are visible to all deal room members who have ‘View members’ or higher members access. You can filter members by tags from the filtering section or use the filter search.

You can set up the desired order of predefined tags with drag-and-drop to easily access frequently used tags or you can order tags directly in the funnel.

How can I add internal notes to members?

To add internal notes to a deal room member:

  • go to the Members page (from the left-side menu)
  • locate the relevant member in the members list
  • click on the member name you wish to add an internal note
  • find the “Internal notes” section where you can add notes by clicking on “Edit internal notes”

Internal notes are visible only to members who have full edit members access. They are shown under tags in the members list view and on the right side of the detailed profile view of each member.

You can use separate notes search to find members by internal notes.
