Discussions tab on company applications

Discussions tab on company applications aggregates all discussion threads that are related to the specific application:
Application discussion
Internal discussion
Funding participants discussion
Funding discussion with the company

Please note that depending on whether a funding round exists or not, its visibility settings, and access levels of your members, not all of these discussions might be available to all deal room members.

What is Internal discussion and who can access it?

Internal discussion is located in the Discussions tab on each company application.

Internal discussion is a thread where deal room members can discuss the company or the related application internally.

Internal discussions are visible only within your deal room, meaning they are not visible to the company or any user who is not a member of your deal room. Deal room members who have “view companies” or higher companies access and full activity access can read and write in the Internal discussion.

What are internal notes on applications and who can see them?

Internal notes are meant for storing company and application-related information the admin team and deal flow managers have. For example, notes about things that have been discovered in the evaluation process before conclusions are put together and published to members.

Internal notes can be edited and seen by only those deal room members who have “full edit access” to companies or the specific company.
