How to follow/unfollow applications and what it means
Deal room members can follow company applications to receive notifications about application-related activities, such as new comments, discussion messages and funding interests on the application.
To follow an application:
- Locate the application in the deal room
- Open the All actions menu of the application
- Choose “Follow”
A star will appear next to the applications you are following in the funnel list view.
You start automatically following an application when you:
- Leave an internal comment
- Send a message in Application discussion
- Send a message in Participants discussion of the funding round
- Send a message in Funding discussion with the company
- Mark funding interest
- Assign the application or an application task to yourself
You can unfollow an application any time by choosing “Unfollow” from the same All actions menu.
How to mark that you are not interested in an application?
Deal room members can mark that they are not interested in specific applications if they don’t want to receive any notifications about those applications.
To mark that you’re not interested in an application:
- Locate the application in the deal room
- Open the All actions menu of the application
- Choose “Not interested”
The "Not interested" action can be reversed by choosing "Unhide" from the same All actions menu.
How to filter applications by following/not interested status?
There is a special filter for that in the funnel/database/discover view. To apply the filter:
- Click on the Filter button on top of the funnel
- Open the Follow filter
- Choose which applications you want to see
