Choosing voting members and inviting them to vote

When you set up a voting round, you can choose individual members or member groups who can vote in that round. The voting feature will be hidden from deal room members who are not selected as voters when they look at the funnel step or company applications in that step. They won't receive invitations to vote either when you send jury invitation emails.
To include only specific members or member groups in the voting round:
go to Funnel setup
open the additional action menu of the funnel step the voting round is connected to
choose "Voting"
click on the edit button next to "Configuration"
tick the "Only selected members can vote" checkbox
select members or member groups who need to be able to vote in the voting round
click "OK" at the bottom of the window
click "Save" at the bottom of the Funnel setup screen to save your changes
To invite relevant deal room members to give their votes to applications in a voting round:
open the funnel step the voting round is connected to
open the menu from the right upper corner of your funnel
choose "Send jury invitation emails"
Voters will receive an email invitation to vote. Only those members who meet all following criteria will receive voting invitations:
the funnel step the voting round is connected to is visible to them
they have been given the right to vote in this voting round in voting round setup
they have not completed voting in this voting round yet
If you want voters to be able to vote on only selected applications in the voting round instead of all applications that are stored in the funnel step the voting round is connected to, you need to give them individual access to that funnel step in Members > Groups setup > Steps access.
If the level “Individual” is not available in Steps access, it means that the individual access feature is not activated in your deal room. Please contact your account manager or Dealum support for more information.
After you have given the member group your voters belong to individual access to the step where voting takes place, you will be able to configure which voters can vote on each application in “Individual access setup”. You can find detailed instructions for it here.
