Right sidebar of company applications
This article explains the information that is presented and features that are available on the right sidebar of company applications.
Please note that depending on your access level and features enabled in the deal room, some of the data and actions mentioned in this article might not be available or visible to you.
Provides quick access to actions like:
Contacting the company via Application discussion
Requesting more information from the company
Sharing the company
Printing the application or saving it as a PDF
Editing answers on the application
If the company has not answered all required questions that are activated in the funnel step the application is currently in, you can see a corresponding notice under the toolbar and the button that allows you to request more info is highlighted.
This section includes:
Application code that is automatically assigned by Dealum and acts as a unique identifier for the specific application. If they have submitted multiple applications to your deal room, each application has its unique code.
Step name the application is currently in.
Number of days the application has spent in the current funnel step.
Funding round progress bar that acts as a shortcut to the funding round when clicking on it.
Important dates related to the application.
Those can include:
Date created - the date a deal room admin added the application to the deal room (shown only when the application has not been submitted by the company).
Date invited - the date the deal room sent the company an invite after adding/importing the application (shown only when the invite has been sent but not accepted by the company yet).
Date submitted - the date the company finished and submitted their application to the deal room.
Date last updated by company - the date the company last updated some of the information that is visible in the application without reviewing the whole application they've submitted to your deal room. They might have updated some answers in their profile view or answers to some questions that are activated in your deal room by updating or submitting another application where the same question is used.
Date reviewed by company - the date the company last went over the application (all information) they have submitted to your deal room. They might or might not have updated provided information but you can assume that their information is up to date as of this date since the company went over the whole application and clicked "complete" at the end of the process.
Date locked - the date your deal room locked the application changes (shown only on locked applications).
Date revoked - the date the company revoked your deal room's access to their updates. You can see the data that was provided by the company before they revoked your access. Any future changes they make in their data will not become visible in their application in your deal room.
Number of unique views, followers, and members who have marked that they are not interested in this application. You can open the list of those members by clicking on the corresponding number.
Possibility to view and add tags, internal notes and tasks.
Displays:
Main information about the funding round the company is currently raising.
Primary currency the company has entered all their financial information in. If it differs from your deal room's primary currency, the provided information is automatically converted to and displayed in your deal room's primary currency on their application.
The role and contact info of the company's primary contact person.
This section displays the following (if available).
Funding round(s) in your deal room's portfolio that have been connected to this application. You can open information you have added to your Portfolio about investments in the company by clicking on the displayed round(s).
Other applications from this company in your deal room. Shown only if the company has submitted more than one application to your deal room and allows you to navigate between those applications. You can see which funnel steps those applications are in and the date they were created on. The application that you are currently viewing is highlighted in the list.
Past and upcoming deal room events this application has been added to. You can click on these events to view more information about them.
Applications in other deal rooms, shown when this company has submitted applications to other deal rooms you're a member of and you have access to their application(s) in that deal room. You can see the deal room name and the date the application was created in that deal room. Clicking on it takes you to the application in the other deal room.

The "Application" section
This section includes:
